Down the road, around the bend
I'd passed it by time and again.
"Where everybody is somebody"
read the sign.
Many have passed it but few did find
A little country church, it's called Alpine.
Just a little church, so quaint and small,
If you're not careful, you won't notice at all.
At the intersection where roads entwine,
Just a small place, it's called Alpine.
Just country folk, they're good and kind
For this I searched, Oh what a find!
Joy and peace, renewing the mind,
A church built on love, it's called Alpine.
